The Adirondack Store & Gallery stands as an enduring presence in the heart of the Adirondacks, gracing the region since 1955. Its legacy extends beyond the mere trendiness of Adirondack products and rustic furniture; it has been a steadfast emblem of quality and authenticity for decades. In 2016,Christopher English and Stephen Dori Shin acquired the company, based in LakePlacid, New York. Their transformative vision breathed new life into this Adirondack classic. A comprehensive renovation revitalized the original store, and a standalone design center was seamlessly integrated, marking a bold, exciting step into the future. Their commitment to expanding the art, antique, and interior design departments of the company became evident in 2019 with the opening of a second Adirondack Store in Tupper Lake, NY. Housed in the historic Ginsberg Building on Park Street, it became a testament to their dedication to preserving history while embracing modernity. The essence of the Adirondack lifestyle, marked by beauty and craftsmanship, resonates in their stores and transcends borders.

In the Tupper Lake location, you will immediately feel like you have stepped into a beautiful Adirondack Great Lodge.  Each item feels thoughtfully chosen, whether it’s a handcrafted furniture piece hinting at mountain lodge charm or a decorative accent that pairs beautifully with cabin décor.  Every piece displayed is sure to leave you in awe and, if selected to take home, will be a conversation piece for generations to come. Whether you’re hunting for a meaningful keepsake or simply soaking in the atmosphere, this shop offers a memorable experience that celebrates both the history and creative spirit of the Adirondacks.
