By supporting and encouraging local artists, Tupper Arts will help enrich the cultural life of the entire community as we present exciting art exhibits, concerts, and theatrical performances.
With volunteer support and generous donations, Tupper Arts has been able to offer arts classes for children and adults, live concerts and performances, art exhibits, and lectures, and to maintain a year-round venue for art shows and sales. The Summer Sunset Stage Concert series, held twice a week at the Flanders Park bandshell, has become a free, must-see experience for residents and visitors to the area. The Little Loggers donor-sponsored free children’s shows every Friday during July and August draw young children and their caregivers to a delightful midday performance. The Jane Gillis Art Camp offers high school-age artists an opportunity to expand their skills in a fun and relaxed setting.
Tupper Arts has purchased the Adirondack State Theater, next door to our gallery on Park St. Work is underway to transform this 1914 movie theater into a performing arts venue that will also offer first-run and other films.
Tupper Arts strives to offer most of its events, classes, and performances at little or no cost to its participants.
