A residency introducing Austin’s quilt-based practice, blending hand-dyed fabric, printmaking, beading, and stitched surface design into richly layered narrative works. A multi-generational fiber storytelling artist with more than 30 years of experience, Austin creates large-scale quilts exploring family, cultural history, memory, and the natural world. Her work has been exhibited nationally and is included in public collections, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum. The residency includes open studio engagement and community connection.
