This pond and its smaller companion, Mud Pond, are fed by the Osgood River, below Meacham Lake. This pond is a nice combination of remote (not overfished) and accessible (easy to find).

Access

Take Route 30 south from Malone and park at the Meacham Campground outlet and work north, or park at the main campground area and move south. In either case, the river is a guideline. The trail for snowmobiles leads from Route 30 to Mud Pond, just north of Sunnyside Road on the western side.
