Hiking
Flat, broad paths end at a viewing station at the edge of a floating bog mat, where interpretive information about the bog and its lifecycle throughout the seasons is available. This is a short, roughly ten-minute walk on a dirt path, but the outstanding scenery makes it well worth a visit.
The fern-lined dirt trail with short, gradual inclines and easy walking is outlined on the map board at the parking lot. The left-hand path follows a smooth route behind the historic Romanesque Revival church, built in 1844 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Accessibility
A handicap ramp provides access to the covered observation deck.
