Fish Creek Pond Campground is widely considered one of the top camping destinations in the Adirondacks, known for its unique natural sand shoreline and excellent water access from many campsites. Located within the interconnected waters of Fish Creek and Square Pond, it offers a scenic, water-focused camping experience where both motorized and non-motorized boating are allowed.
The campground features over 300 sites suitable for tents and RVs, along with a full range of amenities including restrooms, hot showers, picnic areas, a beach, playground, amphitheater, and trailer dump station. A boat launch and nearby rentals make it easy to explore the water, while hiking and biking trails provide land-based recreation.
A highlight for families is the organized summer recreation program, offering daily activities such as nature walks, crafts, games, and evening entertainment.
Because of its popularity, reservations are strongly recommended. The campground also connects to nearby Rollins Pond, expanding boating and exploration opportunities across a larger water network within the Adirondack Park.
